EMT Start Rate: $12.50/hr
Plus: $0.15 a year for F/T EMS experience
EMT-P Start Rate: $16.00/hr
Plus: $0.25 a year for F/T EMS experience
Objective performance/salary reviews every 6 months allow you to “Top Out” in only 8 years with raises of up to 5% annually. Pay scales at other companies can require as long as 19 years to reach top pay.

EMS details are available at the Bayside Expo and select other locations and events. Qualifying EMS details pay $32.00/hr.
Instructor Pay
Instructor Pay is available when assigned as an instructor in First Aid, CPR, the Paramedic Program or other EMS training classes.
Qualifying Instructor Assignment Pay $32.00/hr.
Holidays and Birthdays
Eligible upon completion of one year of full time service.
All eleven state holidays and birthday.
Personnel who work their scheduled shift(s) on a holiday or their birthday receive holiday pay (8 hours straight time) in addition to regular pay.
Paid Time Off
Eligible upon completion of one year of full time service.
After 1 year - 80 hours/year
After 3 years - 120 hours/year
After 8 years - 160 hours/year
Any unused time can accrue and/or can be cashed in subject to certain limitations.
