CQI
Recognizing that the patient is the ultimate focus of any health
care organization PRO ensures the delivery of quality emergency medical
care through information analysis and review of 100% of patient interactions.
To facilitate this we’ve developed an on-going Continuous Quality
Improvement (CQI) Program.
CQI is a never ending process in which all levels of healthcare
workers are encouraged to team together, without fear of management
repercussion, to develop and enhance the system in which they work.
The mission of the CQI Department is to provide feedback through
formal and informal coaching and consulting by conducting prospective,
concurrent and retrospective review of our field providers’ medical
care. The participant learns critical thought process patterns and
constructive self-scrutiny. PRO is committed to continuous quality
improvement and recognizes that greater results can be gained by
improving whole processes rather then blaming individual providers
when something goes wrong.
The CQI Department is also tasked with M&M Rounds, Special Projects,
Research, and Data Collection.
